A:
The audio routing for your IOS application is not the same as for a Windows application.
As it stands, you have an audio path that includes RTAudio.
The RTAudio element then feeds audio into a number of CoreAudio elements.
For audio in, it's iTrackCoreAudioStream and for audio out it's RTAudio.
And then there's a bunch of other CoreAudio elements that are not audio.
If you look in iTrackCoreAudioStream.cpp you will see some comments about the RTAudio element that indicate that it is the first element in the audio path.
As such, you have to remove the RTAudio element from your audio path.
If you want to send audio out to the MiniDisplayPort, you will have to look at outputting audio through that device and not through RTAudio.
So, in your RTAudio setOutputStream, you will have to do something like:
REPORT_SINK_INFO(
{
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutDeviceKey)
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutDeviceNumber)
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutSampleRateKey)
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutNumberChannelsKey)
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutNameKey)
SINK_INFO_KEY(kAudioOutStringKey)
});
You will need to look at the MiniDisplayPort documentation to see what properties and values can be used for a sink. Probably kAudioOutDeviceNumber and kAudioOutSampleRateKey.
